Do Sweat The Small Stuff

Do Sweat The Small Stuff written by Mark Bittman, i thought was a great article. Im assuming from the article the author in the article writes about food or eating healthier. I really liked how honest he was about his book tours and the questions people ask. I agree with him in many aspects of the article, like how so many people blame fast food places like burger king, wendy's, and mcdonalds for people being over weight. In reality eating fast food is our individual choices. Instead of eating fast food you can do small things like learn how to cook healthy food, or limit your families junk food to one Debbie cake a day. Or once a week have salad night with your family. Thats why the author thinks the small things do matter, because over time little things you do like eating salad will make a difference. Overall i thought the article was powerful and really made a good point that many people do not think about. It seems people ask questions for help that they really already knew the answer to, but people tend to want some guidance.

When i presented my project today i thought overall it went very well. This project was by far my favorite this semester. Unlike the other projects from my college writing two class, i actually had a lot of fun doing this one because BMX riding is something that I'm passionate about. I will say recording the BMX dirt clips from the video was very hard because of the weather. During the time frame of the project it was raining almost every day so it was hard to ride dirt, simply because the dirt has to be dry. Other than that i had no issues with the project.

Multimodal Reflection

For my Multimodal project my modes would be audio, video, and text. The audio I am not to sure what I will use yet, but the videos are all video's of myself. The platform I will be using is YouTube. I choose YouTube because I am very familiar with You Tube. When I was a kid I posted I think three or four videos on YouTube, so I kind of remember how to edit a video and so on. My concept is something I am very passionate about called BMX. For my video I will be demonstrating the different types of BMX riding. Which is dirt riding, park riding, street riding and flatland riding. So far I almost have my video done but it could be better. I think I need some kind of introduction maybe something like driving through the city seeing all the Sky scrapers, or a fast forwarded video of me driving to the different places for my video. Also I really need to find the right soundtrack for the video, I just don't know if I should pick a song or go with a instrumental soundtrack.
